Smile Design Studio

Smile Design Studio was founded by Dr. Anya Valdez, who completed her prosthodontics fellowship at NYU's College of Dentistry before returning to Manila. The studio's philosophy is that exceptional dental aesthetics requires equal parts clinical precision and artistic vision — a belief reflected in Dr. Valdez's practice of sketching each smile design by hand before any digital modeling begins.

The BGC clinic was designed by the same team behind Chi Spa's interiors, with a deliberate intention to erase the clinical anxiety that most dental environments generate. No harsh fluorescent lighting, no cold stainless steel on display. Instead, warm linen walls, a curated sound system, and an aromatherapy protocol that changes based on the treatment phase.

Veneers (the studio's signature service) are produced by a single ceramist in Milan who has worked with Dr. Valdez for eight years. The result is a consistency of shade, translucency, and texture that is genuinely unmatched by any other clinic in Manila. Cases typically require three visits over four weeks, with digital mock-ups presented at the second visit for client approval.
